Nadya was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. She entered the university in Melbourne to pursue a combined Bachelor of Arts and Law degree. During her studies she received a scholarship to study Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. There she met her husband, married, and later migrated to the United States in 1987 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Nadya then graduated with honors from Florida State University School of Law. Her husband's Marine Corps career took them to Hawaii where she practiced personal injury law in Honolulu. Her family then moved to Pensacola, Florida where she was engaged in general practice.

After her husband's retirement from 22 years of service in the Marine Corps, they made Colorado their home. Nadya worked with a general practice law firm specializing in estate planning and domestic law.

Her interest in estate planning stems from a desire to convey the same sense of relief she felt when her estate plan was put in place. When Nadya's husband was a pilot and was deployed to Iraq, she realized the importance of appropriate planning given the dangers of her husband's profession.

Nadya enjoys addressing everyday issues that families encounter before they become problems. She believes that her experience can help families creatively plan for the inevitability of death or incapacity. She is able to meet the needs of her clients in a manner that clearly and thoughtfully articulates their wishes and ensures that their families are spared the agony of expensive and invasive court proceedings. Her litigation experience enables her to be a persuasive and credible advocate for her clients when aggressive representation is necessary.
